Sustainability, Green Human Resource Management and Work‐Life Balance: An Integrated Bibliometric Review Approach.
(Corporate Social Responsibility & Environmental Management, 2025-12) Devadhasan, Babin Dhas; Gupta, Ashulekha; Lathabhavan, Remya; Gupta, Veethika; Bijalwan, Priya
Work‐life balance has become a key concern in modern workplaces, affecting both employee well‐being and long‐term organizational success. This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric review of work‐life balance and sustainable human resource management by analyzing scholarly literature from the Scopus and Web of Science databases between 2014 and 2023. Following the PRISMA protocol, 829 relevant articles were identified and analyzed using VOS viewer for co‐authorship networks, keyword co‐occurrences, and thematic cluster mapping. The analysis reveals publication trends, leading authors, and evolving research themes, highlighting the integration of sustainable HRM and employee well‐being practices. The findings demonstrate growing academic attention toward aligning HR strategies with sustainability and work‐life balance, offering a foundation for future interdisciplinary research and organizational policy development. This study offers fresh insights into how sustainable human resource management can improve employee satisfaction, productivity, and loyalty. It contributes to the ongoing conversation by mapping the research landscape and providing a strong foundation for future studies aimed at building a more sustainable and supportive workforce.

Exploring the SEZs from the perspective of Environmental and Social Sustainability in SEZs
(2025) Dwivedi,Shweta; Chakraborty,Tamali
The SEZs are developed to achieve various economic benefits, such as employment, investment, technological innovation, skill enhancement, and industrialization, with the aim of promoting local and regional development through spillover and cluster effect. The spillover and cluster effect represent the spatial concentration of firms, which improves competition and firm performance, enabling SEZs’ economic benefits. However, the success of SEZs depends on their implementation, policy design, and locational strategy. The question arises at what cost economic benefits are achieved, environmental and social costs. In the purview of economic benefits outweighing the environmental and social costs, the chapter identifies various sustainability issues associated with SEZs. The chapter is classified into three important parts: economic benefits, environmental costs, and social costs, primarily focusing on developing countries. The first part explores the economic benefits associated with SEZs. The chapter identifies that SEZs act as a catalyst for economic growth among developing countries following the global value chain and agglomeration approaches. The second part discusses various environmental issues due to SEZs, such as overutilization of natural resources, pollution, waste disposal, and carbon emissions by SEZ projects. Further, anthropogenic activities disturb the natural habitat, leading to the loss of the environment and increasing the environmental costs. The last part reviews the impact on marginalized and local communities’ livelihoods. It is observed that due to a lack of skills, marginalized people and local communities suffer from the loss of livelihood and inadequate compensation, which reduces the spillover and multiplier effect. Further, the situation worsens when agricultural land, assets, and properties are lost. Moreover, SEZs bring global competition and cluster effects, which change demography due to the influence of other societies. Thus, there is an enormous environmental and social cost associated with SEZs. The chapter concludes that SEZ sustainability should be followed to achieve long-term economic benefits. It also explores the possibility of trickle-down effects in neighbouring regions where SEZs are established. Furthermore, it explains the ongoing struggle between economic benefits and environmental-social costs. © 2025, Il Sileno Edizioni. All rights reserved.
Examining the impact of perceived hospital accreditation quality standards on patient loyalty: A Stimulus-Organism-Response theory perspective
(IIMB Management Review, 2025-12) Swain,Swapnarag; Ahmad,Anees; Mishra,Sreelekha
Drawing on the Stimulus-Organism-Response theory, this study examines how patients’ perception of the hospital accreditation quality standards influences their loyalty to accredited hospitals. A survey was administered among 290 patients admitted to four accredited tertiary care hospitals. The conceptual framework was tested using structural equation modelling. Results suggest that patients’ perception of patient-centred standards and hospital organisation management standards influences trust, leading to their commitment, which finally results in loyalty to accredited hospitals. The findings indicate a partial but significant mediating role of trust and commitment while predicting patient loyalty. It provides insights to hospital quality and marketing managers.
Robust Detection of Evasive Fileless Powershell Malware: A Machine Learning Approach
(2025 International Conference on Artificial intelligence and Emerging Technologies (ICAIET), Artificial intelligence and Emerging Technologies (ICAIET), 2025 International Conference on,20250828, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, 2025) Meher, Manish Kumar; Rath, Adyasha; Panda, Ganapati; Thanapati, Biswa Bhusana; Puthal, Deepak Kumar
In the growing age of cybersecurity, the most obnoxious attack type is PowerShell-based fileless attacks. PowerShell provides the most favored environment to perform advanced tasks. This feature leads to its misuse, especially in the case of fileless attacks. The traditional methods uses signature based detection, are not able to identify the malware. Modern-day scripts are complex and obfuscated, which avoids detection. This paper proposed a machine learning (ML)-based model for malicious sample detection using feature analysis. It efficiently differentiates the benign and malicious samples with a considerable degree of accuracy. To enhance the detection further, the mutual information (MI) technique was applied to retrieve the most efficient and relevant features. This extensive experiment evaluation demonstrated that the proposed ML-based model achieved improved accuracy of 97.64 % and a robust performance.
Entertainment: navigating legal challenges and opportunities in India compared to EU regulations.
(International Review of Law, Computers & Technology, 2025-12) Patra, Soumya Prakash; Dey, Debasmita
This article analyses AI’s legal, ethical, and commercial challenges in India’s entertainment industry, comparing its fragmented framework (e.g. Copyright Act 1957, DPDP Act 2023) with the EU’s AI Act and GDPR. It demonstrates how AI can diminish legal inequalities by providing affordable IP protection and dispute resolution, empowering marginalised creators. Addressing ethical concerns like deepfakes and bias, particularly in India’s diverse context, the article proposes amendments, sui generis protections, and ethical guidelines to ensure equitable AI use. Policy recommendations balance innovation and creator rights, fostering fair commercial law frameworks through international cooperation.
